Manually Configuring Macs that have Mac OS 9.0 to Connect to the Internet

  1. Click the "Apple" in the left hand corner of the menu bar.

  2. Select "Control Panels".

  3. Select "Remote Access".

  4. Enter username and password.

  5. Enter the dial-up number in your area.

  6. Click "Connect"

** Please note that it is required to put "@spearnet.net" after your username in order to successfully connect to the internet.
